Internal Quality Auditor Job Qualifications
An undergraduate degree is necessary (i.e., engineering, business). Must be an active certified quality auditor ( such as an ASQ CQA), aerospace auditor, or automotive auditor. Experience in internal audits spanning two (2) or more years is preferred. It's essential to be able to speak clearly with a range of auditees (top management, production staff, sales, customer support, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, as well as an excellent attention to detail. Must have extensive knowledge of auditing tools, such as control charts and Ishikawa diagrams. Outstanding communication, presentation, and listening skills are required. Must be able to get along with individuals at all organizational levels.
